Big
Fork sits on a protected bay at the

Columbia
Falls is "The Gateway to Glacier National Park". It
offers a variety of recreational activities such as the Big Sky Waterslide,
beautiful golf courses and summer concerts in Marantette Park. Located
only 10 miles from North American RV Park.

Essex
lies just east of Glacier National Park on U.S. 2 and is home to the
historic Izaak Walton Inn. Goat Lick, which is 2½ miles east of
Essex, is where goats and other animals enjoy a natural salt lick on cliffs
overlooking the Middle Fork of the Flathead River. The best months of
the year to see the goats is said to be in June or July where as many as 75
at a time might appear.

Hungry
Horse is home to one of the
nation's largest dams - the Hungry Horse Dam. Hungry Horse was named
when two horses used for logging the area wandered off one severe winter.
The horses were found a month later, all scraggly and hungry. Located
only 5 miles from North American RV Park.

Kalispell
also known as the "Hub of the Valley", lies just 9 miles
north of Flathead Lake, which is
the largest natural freshwater lake this side of the Mississippi.
Kalispell is the 7th largest city in Montana. Located within 25
minutes of North American RV Park.

Polebridge
is an isolated community named for the log bridge that connects the North
Fork Road in Glacier National Park to Highway 486, over the Flathead River.
This resort community primarily consists of the Polebridge Mercantile, known
for the tastiest pastries and sandwiches around, and the Northern Lights Saloon. (FROM:

West
Glacier is located at the
west entrance of Glacier National Park, at the junction of U.S. 2 and the
Going-to-the-Sun Road. Here you will find the West Glacier post
office, the historic Belton Depot and Belton Chalet, gift shops, and a golf
course. Only 5 minutes from North American RV Park.

Whitefish
is the home of the Big Mountain Ski & Summer Resort
and Whitefish Lake. Some of the many activities here are fishing, golf,
hiking, mountain biking, skiing and "walking
in the treetops". Located only 19 miles from North American
RV Park.
